New or clean concrete

What we do
Diamond grind the whole slab so the polyurea base can bite in, vacuum, then coat. On a newer house this is usually the quickest prep we do.
How it moves the price
The least prep there is, so this is the lowest price for your square footage.

Hairline cracks

What we do
Even the thin ones get cut out with a grinder and stitched, the way you'd stitch skin, so the relief comes out of the crack. Then we fill it with polygrout. Skip that step and the crack walks right back up through a new floor.

A little more grinder time. Most garages have a few.

Pitting or salt damage

What we do
Michigan road salt rides in on your tires all winter and eats the top of the slab. We grind it down and fill the pits with polygrout. A badly pitted floor gets a full flood of polygrout before any coating goes on.
How it moves the price
Scattered pits add a little. A floor that's pitted wall to wall adds more material and time.

Spalling or big cracks

What we do
We grind out the flaking surface, repair the cracks and joints with polygrout, and bring the floor back flat. If we find more damage once the grinder is going, we stop and tell you before any extra work happens.
How it moves the price
The most repair work, so the biggest bump. Any extra cost gets approved in writing first.

Old epoxy or paint

What we do
Peeling epoxy and garage paint come up under the grinder until we're back to sound concrete. We get one call a week about floors someone else put down that went splotchy or started lifting. How we redo failed floors

Removing an old surface adds time. How much depends on what's down there and how well it's stuck.

Damp spots or white crust

What we do
Moisture is the one real threat to a coating, because water in the slab has to escape somewhere. We won't coat a wet floor. We wait for a dry day, grind (the dust pulls moisture out), use acetone, run fans and cover the slab until it's ready. Basement moisture, explained

Fifteen minutes is all the product gives you

Polyurea and polyaspartic don't level themselves the way epoxy does. Once they're mixed, an installer has 15 to 18 minutes to get them down right, on the floor and not in the bucket. That's why who you hire matters.

How a garage floor goes, start to finish

  1. Step 1 Quote in person or by photo

    We come measure, or you text photos and a rough square footage. We answer within 24 hours on weekdays.

  2. Step 2 Pick two or three colors

    No need to decide on the spot. Narrow it down and we bring extra flake on install day so you can choose in your own light.

  3. Step 3 Keep the slab dry

    For 10 days before, no washing the floor and no parking wet tires inside. Clear the space. You don't need to sweep.

  4. Step 4 One day of work

    Grind, repair, base coat, flake, topcoat. We clean up and leave you the care sheet. Pay when the job is done.

Two lifelong friends and a shop on Dorr Road

Tyler and Cole started our company in 2024. Cole runs the floors and Tyler runs the quotes. We grew up as the sons of a State Trooper and a U.S. Army veteran, and we run our crews the way we were raised: show up, do it right, clean up.
