Commercial floor coating for shops, showrooms and work floors

Commercial floor coating from our Howell shop covers pole barns, workshops, showrooms, retail floors, gyms and commercial kitchens. Same polyurea and polyaspartic system as our garages, laid down over a lot more square footage.

Commercial and work spaces we coat

  • Pole barns and workshops. Equipment storage, hobby shops and work bays where tools, oil and tractors live.
  • Showrooms and retail floors. A clean, stone-like floor that customers notice when they walk in.
  • Gyms and training spaces. Dropped weights, rubber mats and sweat, with a floor that mops clean.
  • Commercial kitchens and cafeterias. Spills, grease and constant cleaning with hot water and degreaser.
  • Offices, warehouses and back rooms. High-traffic concrete that's tired of looking like bare concrete.

What a commercial floor has to stand up to

What the floor seesHow our system handles it
Oil, fuel and shop chemicalsThe polyaspartic topcoat is chemical and stain resistant, so spills wipe up instead of soaking into the concrete.
Dropped tools and heavy equipmentThe polyurea base bonds into diamond-ground concrete and flexes more than epoxy, which helps it resist chipping and cracking.
Daily mopping and hot-water washdownsA sealed, non-porous surface. Mild soap and water is enough for daily cleaning.
Wet floors and foot trafficFull flake broadcast adds texture for traction. Slip-resistant flake improves grip but no floor removes slip risk.
Sunlight through big doors or windowsUV-stable topcoat, so the floor won't yellow near open bay doors or storefront glass.

Big floors with short windows

A commercial floor means more square footage and usually a business that wants its space back. Polyurea and polyaspartic cure far faster than epoxy, which is a big part of why our garage installs finish in one day. On a large floor we plan the work in sections, and each batch gets about 15 to 18 minutes before it has to be down. Our installers are trained in house on our own jobs, and that's the kind of work where training shows.

Prep scales up the same way it does in a garage. We diamond grind, fill cracks, pitting and joints with polygrout, cut and stitch hairline cracks, and remove failed coatings until we reach sound concrete. If we find damage we didn't expect once the grinder is running, we stop and get your approval in writing before doing extra work.

We'll work out the install date with you so the floor goes down when you can spare the space.

Standard blends or a custom color

Most of our residential work uses a short list of standard flake colors. For commercial floors we're glad to look at custom blends to match your brand or your showroom. Start with our standard flake colors, then tell us what you have in mind.

Commercial warranty. Our limited lifetime warranty is for residential customers. Commercial and industrial floors get warranty terms set for the project, based on the space and how it's used. We put them in writing on your quote.
